Amell when asked on the appearing in the widely-anticipated
big screen adaptation said “I think that Green Arrow has an opportunity to
mature in much the same way Iron Man did in the Marvel Universe. He wasn’t necessarily
a top level character, but because they made an Iron Man movie and it was
successful, it arched him up and now anchors the Avengers…”.
Amell continued on to state “It’s always up to what’s
popular at the moment. Right now archery seems to have a mini Renaissance, so
hopefully he can settle into a firm revolving member of the DC Justice League
of America”.
The film which is set for a 2015 release is something Amell
wants so bad that he added he would “sweep the floors when they were done”.
What is Arrow’s next mission this coming Season 2? Hope to
